Lynn holds a nursing degree (BSN) from the University of Detroit Mercy and a Master’s Degree in Career and Technical Education from Wayne State University. She worked more than 25 years as a hospital RN, then started teaching at the LISD TECH Center. She retired from the LISD TECH Center after teaching Health Care Careers for 12 years.  She shares a passion with her daughter in starting The Faithful Farm School and looks forward to working with students of all ages. Lynn plans to teach students about medical skills, medical terms and healthy living, in addition to all the fun things we will be exploring! She and her husband are also engaged in farming and are parents of 3 adults, and grandparents of 2.

Tamara is soon retiring from the LISD and joining our staff. She has worked many years as a learning assistant, and was instrumental in the development of the Project Search program, assisting adult students with special needs in learning job and social skills.  Tamara also worked with general population students at the LISD TECH Center and teaches Sunday School.  Tamara owns her own floral design business, so she will be teaching the students how to make beautiful creations. She and her husband are parents of 2 adults and grandparents of 3.
